Scientific Research

Insight comes with the territory.

Detection & Discovery

We operate in infectious disease hot spots in over 30 countries with trusted local partners, extensive multidisciplinary networks and a collaborative spirit. We operate locally in Lao PDR, Vietnam, China, Cote D’Ivoire, Indonesia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Gabon, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Chad, Burundi, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Jordan and Iraq.

Education & Training

Our international savvy and cultural sensitivity allow us to develop and evaluate new tools and create tailored approaches that help reduce and mitigate infectious disease outbreaks. We empower governments, organizations and communities through education and training programs and work to strengthen in-country capacities to help prevent, detect, and reduce the risk and impact of biological threats.

Metabiota is an implementing partner for USAID’s PREDICT project, along with University of California at Davis, EcoHealth Alliance, Smithsonian Institution, and Wildlife Conservation Society with support from Columbia and Harvard universities.
